Try the baking tray idea with greaseproof paper. Should be able to just peel it off.

I think you can just melt chocolate chips, draw shapes with the chocolate on a baking sheet, then leave them in the fridge for a couple hours — it may be a bit tricky to get them off the baking sheet, but I think it’d work…
